About the Event

One of our two "headline" workshops, this will be a session on how to look after your voice, with tips for keeping voices healthy as we get older. Dr Jenevora Williams is a passionate teacher, and is acknowledged as an expert in the field of vocal health and singing teaching all over the world. She was the first singing teacher to be awarded a PhD in voice science in the UK, and won the 2010 BVA Van Lawrence Prize for her outstanding contribution to voice research. She also had an extensive career as an opera singer, and her books on teaching singing are virtually required reading for singing teachers. She's a very engaging speaker, and this is a truly unique opportunity to benefit from her expertise and insight. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the evening.
