ABOUT ME
BIO
Timothy trained under the well-known choral arranger and accompanist Michael Neaum, and also Anthea Cator and Douglas Wilkie at Clarendon College, before graduating from University College Bretton Hall in West Yorkshire. His career began at Bretton Hall, teaching singing to undergraduates, and has included freelance work as a musical director in Yorkshire and London, conducting large choirs in projects at major concert halls across the UK, commissions for compositions and arrangements, and private vocal tuition. He has run singing workshops across the UK, for clients from small choirs to major corporations. He has worked alongside big-name artists such as Brian May and Toyah Willcox, performed in venues from Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to the Royal Albert Hall, and conducted internationally. His musical arrangements and orchestrations have been performed across the world, by ensembles ranging from local community choirs to the City of London Philharmonic.

Timothy is the co-director of two contemporary community choirs, BeVox (in Lincoln and Sheffield), and New Horizon Choir (in Gateshead / Newcastle). He is one of the team of arrangers at ChoirCommunity, and also proof-reads most of their scores. He lives and works with his wife Toni in a small village in South Yorkshire.
