About the event

This "Summer Singing Day" is aimed at people who already sing in a community choir, who want to have a day of singing just for fun, under the leadership of acclaimed musical director and arranger Timothy Allen.

Timings

  • 10:40am - Registration opens

  • 11:00am - Introduction and warm-ups

  • 11:15am - Song 1: Can you feel the love tonight? from The Lion King

  • 11:50am - Break

Tickets

  • Soprano 1

For Soprano 1s only - range Bb below middle C to Ab nearly two octaves higher. (There's just one top Ab, and a couple of top Gs - mostly the top notes are Fs).

  • Soprano 2

For Soprano 2s only. Most of the time, all the sopranos sing the same as each other, but the Soprano 2s get the occasional different line - and nothing above an F at the top!

    £30.00

  • Alto 1

For Alto 1s only. Most of the time, all the altos sing the same as each other, but there are some sections where they split. The difference in range is minimal - go with what you're used to, and if you're not used to altos splitting into two parts, just pick one or the other - it won't matter too much.

  • Bass

For basses only. The range is reasonably wide, covering a traditional bass range and baritones too. There are normally alternative lines if the part gets a bit high for a proper deep bass, or if it gets a bit low for a baritone.
