The final countdown

Overblown, cheesy, and massive fun, The Final Countdown is a perennial favourite. The big chords and fanfares are ideal for choirs to sing - emulating the sound of that classic synth brass riff. There are some nice little echoes in the second verse - make use of the dynamics to really sell these. The a capella chorus towards the end is a great chance to show off what your choir can do, and the (optional) high lines for the 1st sopranos and tenors at the end should knock your audience's socks off!
