A whiter shade of pale
S(S)ATB
Beginning with a brief excerpt from J.S. Bach's "Air from Suite No. 3" (also known as "Air on a G string" - included as a nod to the Bach-inspired Hammond organ part from Procul Harem's original), this arrangement focuses the tune primarily in the altos and tenors, with the basses providing a "walking bass" accompaniment and the sopranos soaring above. It should generally be performed in a fairly laid-back manner, but the accented triplets on "And so it was" need to be forceful.
