About me |
|
Timothy has worked with Sing Live in various roles since 1999, and is now the full-time Head of Music. His major passion in life has always been working with people to help them achieve their potential, and he continues to bring excitement, enthusiasm and a sense of adventure to the arrangements, orchestrations, rehearsals and concerts he works on. Highlights of Timothy’s achievements within the Sing Live community include working alongside Broadway legend Don Pippin in rehearsals for The Night of 1000 Voices™ at The Royal Albert Hall, London; helping to train the 1,000+ voice choir for Sing Live’s concert at The Hallam FM Arena, Sheffield; appearing as guest conductor on Jane McDonald’s 2006 UK tour; and conducting Sing Live International aboard the Carnival Splendor as they cruised the Baltic Sea. Prior to working with Sing Live, Timothy divided his time between a successful career as a business analyst and database designer, and working as a freelance musician. He has been the Musical Director for over 30 productions, including 10 world premieres, and has co-written a critically acclaimed rock opera. Some of his past students have gone on to play lead roles in the West End and on film; however, his greatest love as a musician will always be working with people who have no previous experience and helping them to find the confidence to perform. |
